If you’re searching for a high performance inflatable paddle board built for distance, adventure and efficiency, the NRS Clipper SUP Board is in a class of its own. Designed specifically for touring, this board blends speed, tracking and stability giving you the confidence to paddle further, explore more and carry everything you need along the way.
Whether you’re taking on long flat water routes, battling headwinds, or loading up for multi-day trips, the NRS Clipper paddle board is built to handle it all and amongst the best inflatable touring boards available.
The Clipper is purpose built for paddlers who value efficient forward motion and reduced fatigue.
Its standout feature is the V-Hull nose, which cuts through the water rather than pushing it. This creates a noticeably smoother and faster ride especially over longer distances.
You’ll benefit from:
It’s the kind of board that rewards good technique and makes long paddles feel easier.
This isn’t your average inflatable SUP. NRS has packed the Clipper with technology that genuinely improves performance.
Together, these features create a paddle board that feels closer to a hardboard than a traditional inflatable.
Touring boards often sacrifice stability but not here. The DropDeck™ design lowers your stance while maintaining volume through the rails, giving you a more planted and controlled feel.
This is especially noticeable when:
It’s stable without feeling slow, exactly what you want in an adventure touring SUP.
The IST Concave rail system is one of those features you don’t notice visually but you feel instantly on the water. It works by channelling water cleanly along the rails toward the fin, which results in:
Over distance, this translates into less fatigue and more enjoyment.
The NRS inflatable Clipper paddle board is designed to carry more than just you.
With multiple rigging points and a thoughtful layout, it’s ready for proper touring:
Whether it’s a day mission or an overnight trip, you’ve got the space and support you need.
Included with the board is a versatile fin setup that lets you paddle in different environments without compromise.
This flexibility makes the NRS Clipper far more adaptable than most touring boards.
The NRS Clipper range includes two standard and two wide models, so you can choose between speed or added stability and get the best board for your physique.

There are plenty of inflatable SUPs on the market but very few are genuinely designed with touring performance as the priority, not just as a secondary feature. The NRS Clipper SUP Board is different because every element of its design works together to help you paddle further, more efficiently and with greater confidence.
The NRS Clipper offers:
If you’re serious about paddle boarding beyond short sessions and want to explore, travel and push your distance, the NRS Clipper SUP Board is one of the best touring inflatables available.
Here at SUP Funk this is now our premium board of choice and the one you will see us regular out on the water using.

My heart wanted a narrow board however my head directed me to the wide board as I planned to be doing some long trips which will involve up to grade 3 at times.
The board arrived really quickly after ordering and packaged well.
Just had my first outing on this SUP……..wow! So stiff and stable. It’s fast with great glide, the rocker front and rear really livens up the board making it responsive and fun.
It’s not designed as a white water board however I found it very good on my first outing on some easy moving water today.
As a family both my daughters and wife had a go and all were very impressed with how well it tracked yet was also easy to turn and they liked how stable it was.
The quality of the NRS clipper is outstanding. I’m delighted and impressed at my purchase and the service I received.
Thank you SUP Funk.
👍👍👍
Thank you Andy for the in depth review and we are so pleased you are happy with your Clipper! It’s brilliant to hear the whole family had a go and loved it too 😊 both Nigel and I love this board and it seriously doesn’t get the recognition it deserves.
Like you say stiffness is something that stood out to us the first time we used them along with how stable and agile they felt.
Here’s wishing you many more amazing adventures on the water! We hope to see you on there one day.
