NRS Bill’s 2mm Wetsuit Jacket

A sleeveless wetsuit is brilliant for shoulder movement, but there are days when your arms and upper body need more protection. The NRS Bill’s 2mm Wetsuit Jacket adds flexible neoprene insulation across your arms and core, making it a practical extra layer for paddleboarding, kayaking, canoeing, rafting and other watersports.

The front-zip design is easy to put on, while the extended waist and raised collar provide useful additional coverage. It can be combined with a sleeveless wetsuit or used as a separate upper-body layer when the conditions suit.

Extra warmth without excessive bulk

The jacket is made from 2mm neoprene, providing insulation while remaining flexible enough for comfortable paddling. Tiny titanium flakes within the laminate adhesive reflect some of your body heat back towards you, helping the jacket retain warmth without relying on thicker, bulkier material.

This makes it particularly useful when you want to add warmth through your arms and torso while keeping the freedom of a two-piece paddling outfit.

More coverage around the waist and neck

An extended waist provides additional overlap with your lower-body wetsuit, helping reduce exposed areas as you reach forwards, sit or bend. The raised collar adds coverage around the neck and helps the jacket feel more protective when the air or water turns cooler.

As with any neoprene garment, the Bill’s Jacket works best when it sits close to your body. A snug fit limits water moving through the jacket and allows the neoprene to insulate more effectively.

Comfortable during repeated movement

Flat-lock stitched seams lie smoothly against your skin, helping reduce rubbing as your arms and shoulders move through each paddle stroke. The construction also keeps the jacket flexible enough for active use on the water.

A heavy-duty YKK® front zip provides straightforward entry and makes the jacket easier to remove after a wet session. It can also be opened when you need additional ventilation, although doing so will reduce coverage and insulation.

Standard and Grizzly sizing

Alongside the standard men’s sizes, selected options are available in NRS Grizzly sizing. These sizes have a wider cut through the chest, waist and thighs, giving broader paddlers a more comfortable fit without simply increasing the length of the garment.

The inner collar is colour-coded by size, allowing instructors, activity centres and commercial operators to identify the correct jackets quickly. The collar colour indicates the size rather than a customer-selectable colour option.
