The NRS Women’s HydroSkin 1.5mm Neoprene Jacket gives you a warm, flexible layer that is easy to put on, remove or adjust as conditions change. Designed for paddleboarding, kayaking and canoeing, it provides useful insulation without the restrictive feel that can come with a traditional one-piece wetsuit.

Flexible warmth without unnecessary bulk

The jacket is made from 1.5mm Terraprene™ neoprene, which helps insulate your core while remaining flexible enough for comfortable paddling. Tiny titanium flakes within the laminate adhesive reflect some of your body heat back towards you, helping the slim neoprene retain warmth without adding unnecessary bulk.

On the outside, premium nylon and spandex stretch with you as you reach forwards and rotate through each paddle stroke. The material is designed to retain less water, while the smooth interior feels soft and comfortable against your skin.

Easy to adjust as conditions change

The full-length YKK® front zip makes the jacket straightforward to put on and remove, even when you are already at the water’s edge. If you begin to warm up during a paddle, you can open the zip to increase ventilation without removing the whole jacket. That flexibility is particularly useful during changeable spring and autumn sessions, when conditions can feel quite different from one hour to the next.

Shaped for comfortable paddling

The women’s paddling cut is designed to move comfortably through the shoulders and upper body, so the jacket works with your stroke rather than fighting against it. Flat-lock stitching creates smoother seams that help reduce rubbing during repeated movement.

Like most neoprene paddling clothing, the HydroSkin jacket works best when it fits close to your body. A snug fit helps limit water moving through the jacket and supports its insulating performance, but it should not prevent you from reaching forwards or rotating your shoulders freely.

A versatile choice for cooler paddles

You can wear the jacket as an insulating upper-body layer or combine it with HydroSkin trousers when you want more coverage. Choosing separate pieces gives you more flexibility than a full wetsuit, particularly when the air warms up but the water remains cold.
