Are NRS Maverick Gloves waterproof?
Yes. NRS describes the gloves as waterproof, with liquid-sealed seams that keep water out up to the cuff. The HydroCuff wrist also helps prevent paddle drip from getting inside. Water can still enter over the cuff if it is submerged.
Are they suitable for paddle boarding?
Yes. They are designed for cold-water paddling. The flexible lining, pre-curved fingers and grippy palms make them suitable for holding a SUP paddle, as well as for kayaking and canoeing.
How do I put the gloves on?
Roll the cuff back, slide your hand in with a gentle twisting motion, then roll the cuff over your wrist and forearm. This is the method NRS recommends for getting the close-fitting cuff into place.
Are the gloves sized for men or women?
NRS lists them as unisex. Use the glove size chart and measure your hand before choosing a size, a close fit helps the cuff sit properly.
