NRS Women’s 3.0 Ultra Jane Wetsuit

If you have ever paddled in a conventional wetsuit and felt your shoulders doing more work than they should, the NRS Women’s 3.0 Ultra Jane Wetsuit offers a much more paddle-friendly approach. Its sleeveless Jane design combines 3mm insulation through the body and legs with generous arm openings, giving you warmth where you need it while leaving your shoulders free to move.

This is NRS’s premium women’s paddling wetsuit, with a soft Graphene lining, flexible movement panels and reinforced high-wear areas. A full front zip and separate relief zip also make it considerably more practical for longer days around the water.

Warmth without restricting your paddle stroke

The main body uses 3mm high-stretch OCENA® neoprene made with responsibly sourced natural rubber, recycled materials and more sustainable chemistry. A titanium laminate adhesive helps reflect body heat back towards you, adding warmth without requiring thicker, stiffer neoprene.

The Paddler’s Cut™ provides generous armholes so you can reach forwards and rotate naturally through each stroke. Flexible 2mm panels around key movement areas, including the shoulders and behind the knees, help the suit bend more easily when you are paddling, kneeling or climbing back onto your board.

A lining you will appreciate on longer sessions

Inside the suit, a Graphene fabric layer adds insulation while feeling soft and comfortable against your skin. This graphite-based material is designed to wick moisture and dry quickly, which helps avoid the cold, clammy feeling associated with more basic wetsuit linings.

The edges are finished with stretchy material made from recycled NRS Rashguard fabric. This creates a softer, more flexible finish around the openings, where comfort matters during repeated movement.

Practical entry and relief zips

A durable YKK® double-pull front zip opens the suit for easier entry and removal. The locking top stop helps prevent the main zip from opening unintentionally while you paddle.

NRS has also included a separate relief zip, allowing you to answer nature’s call without removing the whole wetsuit. It is a small detail until you need it, at which point it becomes one of the suit’s most useful features.

Extra durability where paddlers need it

Eco SupraTex™ fabric reinforces the seat and knees, helping protect the areas most likely to meet a board deck, riverbank or kayak cockpit. This added durability is especially useful if you regularly launch from rough ground, kneel on your SUP or spend long periods sitting in a kayak.

The seams are glued and blind-stitched, giving them a smooth finish against your skin while slowing the movement of water into the suit. The wetsuit is not waterproof, but reducing water exchange helps the neoprene retain warmth more effectively.

Who is the Ultra Jane best suited to?

The Ultra Jane is a strong choice for paddleboarders, kayakers, canoeists and rafters who want more insulation through the torso and legs without neoprene covering their arms. Its sleeveless design also makes it easier to add an upper-body layer when conditions call for extra warmth.

Our advice is to choose the fit carefully. A wetsuit should sit close to your body without large gaps or folds, but the armholes should not rub or restrict your reach. Try a forward paddling motion, bend your knees and sit down when checking the fit rather than judging it only while standing still.
